I broke it when I was locked out because I needed to get in quickly. The hole where the knob used to be is pretty messed up as is the lock mechanism.
Leave it open, put a regular door on it, use a piece of fabric hanging from a tension rod, perhaps a fancy shower curtain that looks like material and not plastic.
More information is needed. What type of pantry doors do you have? Can you provide a picture of the track on the door frame and of the door hardware?
Try a cool screen door or a set of double doors. Check out Restore if there is one near you. They have great deals on all kinds of (used) doors.

Curtain - Blind or New door system
Maybe French doors. You could put that contact paper that allows light but can 't see through if that's an issue.
I personally love screen doors. That would be my idea
Keep the doors, you may need a new track and/or hardware that fits.
Sounds like the track has bent allowing
the door roller to slip out.
I had this same problem with one of my bifold doors. I took the track and wheels out and put door hinges on one side. It now opens like a door and still folds so that it doesn't take up as much room as a full door would do. I nailed a stop on top ( 1" x 2" along the top frame to act as a door stop for closing the door. I also added magnets at the bifold section and at the edge that opens so when closing the door it stays where it should. One advantage of the hinges is that the door opens completely which allows you to have access to more of the pantry.
Just call in someone who can fix the door for you.
