A fish pond comes to mind 1st. Potted plants around the edge for decor.
I would make it a vegetable garden or a flower garden. If you are never going to use it again.
use it for goldfish or other fresh water fish, a few plants and floating lilies youl be surprised how much pleasure you get from watching the fish eric
Fire pit with seating around the pit. Barbeque area. Water fountain.
I would make it into a garden of flowers, veggies or both. I think that would be a great addition to the deck and easy to care for since a deck is used a lot, just a few minutes a day.
A planter garden or one for vegetables.... punch a hole in the very bottom for good drainage, add large-ish stones, add garden soil, plant taller stuff in the center like tomatoes or things that need a trellis, etc... and shorter stuff around the edges
Wow! What a container garden you could make! But you could make a sand pit if you have children to use it, or a sand and fire pit would work great with concrete blocks, then bricks or stones to build the fire pit at patio grade. Adults could also used a sand pit for bonsai trees and making patterns with small rakes and sticks. This would also be a great place for a cactus and succulent garden, with a space near the edge for a cooler of ice and drinks. If you start missing your hot tub, buy a small kids’ pool for your patio! ☺️
