What is the best way to add an awning over an existing staircase?
We don’t want gaps between the existing metal rooftop (live in Hawai’i) and the wooden staircase. Would need a run of awning or some covering that is at least 15’ long (down the stairs) and 4 feet wide. There is an existing small/narrow patio on upper half of staircase. Would need to tie into the roof above that patio or do something that keeps the rain off the railing.
You need a custom awning. I would Google and get a bunch of estimates.
