Has anyone repurposed old bed pillows?

I have a couple from our room and guest rooms which while hardly used, I don't want to keep forever. I would normally donate them to the local animal shelter but just wondered if there was something that could be created from them. Thanks

Could be used as Headboard if Hac loops to fit over Pole. Or Machined in half (Double row and cut in between) and made into Cushions Could be used as Ottoman Pillow or for Stuffing Toys maybe?
What I did with mine was turning them into decorative pillows. I machine washed them with bleach. I measured and cut off only on one side so they would be a square, reused the old stuffing, sewed just one side and done. Then, onto making various zippered pillowcases to go over.
