Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
trap trap trap! I’ve tried everything and haven’t found anything that works better than the traps! There is some chemicals that will keep them away short term. About 3 months as long as it don’t rain! Every time it rains it has to be reapplied. It gets expensive to keep putting on the chemicals to keep them out of your yard! I spent $600.00 on chemicals the first year and gave up on that idea! Traps are cheaper in the long run and you know it’s not coming back after it’s been caught in the traps!
I sound like a broken record, but I keep coming back to tell people the "secret" we found. We tried many things, then someone suggested Poison Peanuts (Walmart). Poke them down in the runs far enough that pets can't get to them. We did this several years ago and they haven't come back since!
Just had a flashback to Caddyshack. If you recall, after using enough explosives to blast the golf course into large mounds of dirt the slightly singed gopher was still dancing to Kenny Loggins. Lesson is "don't do that".

If you or if you know anyone who has snakes, keep the skin when they shed and place a good long piece in each in hole. They won't be back. Tried and true!
