should have replaced bad plywood spots first, becuase the wood is saturated under bottom its going to keep smell coming back , trust me boust house from cat owner of 24 cats in house was tearable was was last house i will ever buy in that bad of animal shape.. soooo glad it sold and gone..When there is Pee Get Rid of indeed...
Try some room deodorizers! So sorry for your dilemma! Hope you get some better answers!
Christina is right. Plywood will absorb and release that smell. We use Petzyme and that helps but replacing the wood is best.
if it is a concrete sub floor, mix 1 cup of oxyclean and 1 gal. of hot water. saturate the area and let dry. may have to do a couple of times but will kill the smell. if carpet and sub floor have the smell, test in a small area first for color loss.
Charcoal. Make piles on plastic & leave in the rooms. After a few weeks it should work.if it's real bad may take new charcoal & several more times
So the carpet was removed and the floor has been tiled all over and you're still smelling it. Cleaning the new floor more is not going to help, and neither will deodorizers in the room. Perhaps the remaining odor is in the walls and a couple of coats of fresh primer and paint will help, but Christina's probably right - you may need to pull out that tile and replace the subfloor. I'm so sorry, this is a terrible problem.
Sounds ds like the floor was not treated correctly
