I have heard that if you soak nettles in a bucket with water, they rot and stink to high heaven and this poured onto weeds will kill them.

1 gallon of vinegar, 1 cup of salt & 1 tablespoon of Dawn. Or just try boiling water.
Vinegar mixed with salt in water until the salt is dissolved - some people use boiling hot water but I just use regular tap water temperature. I use this to kill weeds in between the seams in my concrete driveway and along fence lines.
