How do you get rid of sink/drain flies?
I would like to know how to get rid those pesty little sink/drain flies. I've tried baking soda and vinegar, drain cleaners and put plastic over the drains.

Perhaps you could caulk around the windows.
You would need to caulk everywhere they can get in. If its a historical building then I guess you would have to use oakum and tamp it into the joints around window. If there is a vent in the attic space, I would put screen over it inside.
Stink bugs do no harm except smell bad when you kill them. I've had a few stink bugs hanging round all winter and I just let them have fun and crawl wherever until I can catch them and throw the little buggers into the toilet. Have you considered the old-fashioned fly strips that are still available? They work for me. Sometimes get gnats in August (Central Maryland area).
Thanks for your recommendations. It is a historical building. I need to check on the caulking. And, since the ceilings are high, putting the fly traps in that area may not look too bad, if you don’t look up.
