I use an old popcorn tin type can for my dog treats and empty (thoroughly cleaned and aired for weeks) Lysol wipe containers. I decorated with some doggie wall border I had hanging around the house and put in a rolling crate in the bottom of my pantry.
You need to find something that seals really well to keep the little beetles and moths out of them. We had a box of milk bones get infested really bad last fall. I have had good luck with putting treats in freezer bags if the bags don't have good ziplocks on them. Hubby keeps the dog food in tight fitting garbage cans and dog food bins you can purchase almost anywhere.
