No...if it's nice enough to get out..it's time to get out in the yard and get started!
Seeing as the weather everywhere has been crazy, I'd wait at least until April to clear the area around your lilies. Keeping them "covered" will protect them from the craziness going on and they'll be beautiful come spring!
if you live in a cold region then yes.
Not if you live in Minnesota!
I leave mine covered until they break through, then rake away the mulch. Wait until after the last frost is what they tell me. But who knows when that is??
If the soil is still wet don't do it. Disturbing too wet soil causes it to turn into clay
