Vinegar! Vinegar kills mold spores, bleach does not.

Okay..on the ceiling a wall, in the tub? White vinegar and water equal parts in a spray bottle, spray liberally. Wipe off.
Hi Sarah,
This truly works, I use it about once or twice a year and no more issues....

Good Luck
Let me know how you get on...

The CDC (Center for Disease Control) recommends a 10% bleach solution in water. I have used this on walls that have become dampened by high humidity and have little air circulation and it worked well.

The Best Way to Remove Mold & Mildew With 2 Ingredients (NO Bleach!)
I use outside paint in my bathroom, you can get any color or and finish. But I still get it in the shower (no tub) so I started using the fan which I wasn’t doing and that helps. Dry shower walls down helps too.
Bleach from a spray bottle.
we had mold on our ceiling and some on walls. We used Skilz paint, it smells, although that one wasn't too bad, I've not seen mold since, and it's been a few years since we did it.
