I put about a table spoon at the base of my tomatoes.
I use about 2-3 tablespoons in a two gallon watering can. You can either water at the base of your plants of you can water from above. I usually only use this mix on my vegetables especially my tomatoes. About twice a month during growing season.

Salt is good for anything, but too much can kill. Sprinkle it sparsely. One tablespoon in a gallon of water is plenty, water once a month with it. Or for a more direct approach, spray it directly on the leaves, or divide spraying and watering the gallon mixture each month.
