I have no idea what you are referring to but I find that keeping my clothes in two seasons is best for me. I keep fall\winter & spring/summer. That way I can inter change between the two since summer nights can be cool I can grab a 3/4 sleeve cardigan or jacket and in winter if we have a nice sunny day I can shed some layers and just wear a light weight sweater. That just seems to work for me.
I organize mine by seasons as we have severe winters here and short summers. Other than organizing by warmer or colder seassons, I would go with colors. If you need to know where the short sleeves are vs the long ones, you may want to organize all long sleeve by color then next to them all short sleeve by same color. That way you have both at your finger tips by color. That is how I would do it.
I keep them separated by fall/winter & spring/summer. Then I sort by color scheme. When it is spring/summer, my other clothing is in a cedar closet in my lower level of my condo. Same with shoes that go by season.
I tend to organise by colour,as when putting an outfit together I can decide what style I need on the day, depending on occasion, mood or weather. I'm always looking at ways to improve though. Good luck.
Hi Fowler,
I sort by sleeve length then color. I have enough room to keep all seasons in my closet so I keep them this way in case I need a color to wear underneath something and I only have a sleeveless version of that color. If you don't have that much room, you can do double seasons as others have suggested. Wishing you the best.
I sort by sleeve length first and then by color.
separate your clothes based on season.short leaves, long sleeves, what overuse vacuum sealed bags to aid in storage, uner the bed storage etc.
Mine are sorted by sleeve length then by color. Living in CA I have a lot of white and cream colored items. So that I do not mix up the two (my closet has NO overhead lighting), I place my navy colored items in between the two. Then I do not get my navy and black items mixed up either.
Just choose a system that works for you.
Sleeve length and then color.
