You could make gel candles in them, or wax candles. If you like candy, buy some nice colorful candies, layer them and pretty up the stems with colored ribbon. Or you could layer peanuts and nuts for a salty snack.

If you have three or four glasses you can make a cake plate or sandwich server. Decorate the glasses with colorful paint, including inside the glasses. You could use plastic decals or hot-glued little items as decorations, also. Let everything dry, then spray with a clear poly sealer. Place a clear glass plate or tray on top of the glasses. Use candle wax for a temporary glue, or hot glue for a permanent hold. Place a cake, sandwiches, appetizers, cookies or a pie on the plate and serve. To clean, place the tray and glasses on a counter. Use a damp paper towel and a few drops of water dishwater to clean the glass. Then dry with a paper towel or soft dishcloth, and store in a plastic bag. If you will use this rarely, be sure to use masking tape to seal the plastic around all the glass.

I see this in beach ball colors with sand sealed in the glasses. Have fun with yours. Best wishes ☺️

What a diplomatic response to a weird idea! Thank you! It just happens that I just won four plastic stemmed glasses and a tray in a silent auction. It’s beachy, of course! I’m trying to figure out how to use this set in my guest bath, which has a dolphin theme (granddaughters). I’m thinking a soap dish, a scented salt scrub in another glass, shells in another, and I need one more idea. The tray is too big for the counter, but I’ll figure out something over the toilet.

And I can’t wait to see what you do! Four photos and 200 words lead you through a Post on Hometalk. ☺️

Group several of different heights and place tea light candles in them for an inexpensive, yet creative candleabra.

Great minds think alike LOL. Several years ago I collected Princess House Crystal dishes. Some of the water goblets and dessert dishes are in various heights; so I turn them upside down and place candles in them. I love the flickering flame candles, especially at Christmas time. Filling them with glass beads to color match your decor from the Dollar Tree or partially fill with again Dollar Tree sand, adding a few sea wheels for a beachy theme. Sooo many options....good luck finding just the right idea.....hurry to the Dollar Tree for inexpensive inspiration!
