1st 2 pics are top of men’s dresser drawer. A shoe box is placed at back of drawer sidewayS for socks.
Undies are to the right in 2 rows. There’s room in front of the sock box for hubbies Miscellaneous.
Next pics are of 2nd drawer. Shoe box side Against drawer Side this time. This is for his sport socks and beside that he can have 2 rows of summer tops.
The other drawers just are easier and no boxes needed unless you want them.
This dresser is not huge.
P.S. Mackie the pup approves of this set up!
Good luck.
Calladineb, that’s a nice job. Gert, rolling any soft clothes like underwear will give you more space in the drawers. I also use shoeboxes and checkbook boxes to organize our dresser drawers. But I have found that organizers on top of the dresser help the most. I have two glass dishes for misc. keys, rubber bands, breath mints, and tie clips, etc. I have another ceramic dish for nothing but golf tees. How do they multiply when hubby is not even playing often? I have a large hard plastic cup for ink pens and highlighters for my husband. The only part that outgrows its organizer is the wire basket that hold misc. papers as they come in. Not bills or invitations, but sales papers, Sunday School sheets, thank you cards received, and political ads. I have to keep on top of that way too often. Determine what’s on your dresser that you can move somewhere else. What necessities need to be dropped in trays, cups, dishes? Does a dresser runner help or hurt your organization efforts? What can you simply get rid of, including spring bras and mismatched socks? Corralling all your storage goes a long way to keeping things neat and clean. Now for the closets!
They have lots of these soft organizers for drawers, I like the Sorbus ones.... https://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=organizers+for+dresser+drawers&tag=googhydr-20&index=aps&hvadid=241624334801&hvpos=1t1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12899042192603699667&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9033057&hvtargid=kwd-381161897677&ref=pd_sl_9hv3vginks_e
I so admire anyone who can keep their dresser top clutter free, this is a difficult task at best for me. Papers and all kinds of stuff gets placed there never to be where it should be. Or I have no idea where to organize it because it is a singular item...such as a store receipt, pack of mints, etc..
Of course drawer organizers are wonderful and so is rolling underwear, pairs of socks folded into 1/3rds in rows. One thing I do is separate the winter from summer socks-they get their own bags when out off season.
