How do you make hydrangeas grow taller?
Mine bloom but stay very small
We've had them at a couple of our homes over the years, and as long as you pick a variety that's good in your growing zone and give them sunshine most of the day and ample water you should do well. Never had any problem.
They prefer sandy loamy soil, bright sun, moist soil.prune after blooming- the soil determines the color of the blooms.Enjoy !😄
I have one of the white ones. All I do is cut off the dead wood once they start budding in the spring. The pink and blue ones require different ph in the soil to retain the color each year, but they have fertilizers for them so they are the right color, the blue requires acidic soil. My hydrangeas don't get much sun at all except in the morning and it is old, so they don't look the best, but it is still nice.
No and they are gorgeous and happy. I have rooted by breaking off branch, rubbing Root Tone on end of stalk and putting into potting soul in clay pot. If you buy potted plant just dig hole a little larger than plant, sprinkle fresh pmottling soil into hole, put plant in hole, fill halfway with water, cover with remaining soil. (I always put a little mulch around top of soil to prevent weeds). Read label for proper sun/shade locations. Mine love a little shade from broiling sun. Happy Hydrangeaning 😃
