Inside, i would use white vinegar and water. Smells at first but as it drys it smells fresh. ALSO, don't use things like oil soaps as they may cause bugs like silver fish and others to take up home there.
Outside, depending on condition of cupboards or it you are going to paint after Grease Lighting or Awesome will derp clean well.
Use warm soapy water and clean rag, then after they are dry, apply Old English furniture polish. It helps treat the wood if they are stained and not painted. Hope this helps.
