Line property with mothballs! Uncle used them back in the day..just line them up along your yards perimeter. If it rains alot they will deteriorate but cheap & won't harm them. Will help with rodents, coons & other wildlife
Great tip Karen! Will keep in mind if my coons ever come back!
I am preparing myself to start seeing snakes as well although I've been informed they eat mice and moles etc and are necessary. Still - I saw the suggestion on moth balls which I have used but will say that I personally saw a snake slither right over the mothballs next to my screened in porch and it was not deterred. Even the product called 'snake away' did not work. Wish you luck and perhaps another remedy will be successful for y ou.
mint-and remove english ivy-mice hide in ivy,and many types of snakes eat mice-if you don't want the mint to spread-plant the pots
Thank you for your quick response. I appreciate it. I plan to try the advice.
