I don't know what "strophome shipload" is and as to the "best", you would probably receive a better answer from Lowes or Home Depot as to the quality of the products they sell to put on your ceiling. This may help you:

I just installed alot of ship lap and made it myself. I used 1/4 " utility plywood, (has a nice continued surface with no "eyes" I used my krueg circular saw jig set at 6" and cut 3 sheets at a time. On the far side away from the side i was cutting, i used clamps to keep the plywood sheets secure. This worked well and kept them from shifting. Looked great, and the home owner loves it.
