Do you have any unique ideas for painting the front door?

The neighborhood has homes and doors with a variety of colors. My home is dark grey with a red door. I am tired of the solid color but I don't know what else to do.

As a fan of “dry runs”, I’d take a photo, enlarge and print some copies and get some appropriate colored Sharpies or craft paint. Go to Houzz or Pinterest to look for “front door” inspiration.
