Placement of peony plants

i have two peony plants that I have placed into small pots. Is it better to place them into the ground now. The freezing temps are over for my region.

As long as the freezing is over and your soil can be worked and your sure there is not going to be any frost they should be fine.

I've moved my peonies three times now, twice in the fall and once in the spring and they did fine all three times. They're a very hardy plant!
