Great neutral backdrop. I would add some COLOR! Either by using pretty colored flowers and / or pretty pots, and accessories - yard art, wreath, plant stand - whatever suits your style.
put a wreath on the door, bright carpet in front of the door, potted flowers.
I agree it is definitely a great neutral which gives you an awesome spot to add some color. Blues go beautifully with browns!
Add some color with plants in bright colored pots, furniture with throw pillows that coordinate with your flower pots colors. Laser metal cut outs would look good. Some sort of wall art. Colorful shades or fabric to add privacy.

If door is centered, place good size pots at both sides, instead of just small plants go for small trees, with blooms even better...I have red pots that I rotate with 2 deep orange ones....If you have plenty of space, add 2 other size and color pots with Boxwood, that you can prune as a ball or ??...Only if you really sit at your front porch, add a bench or statue....do not overdo..more not better sometimes....Enjoy
