I switched to hangers from Joy Mangano on HSN just for that very reason. Here are some great tips!

there are hangers with foam grips, if it’s a dress shirt put on hanger and button the top button. Slacks pants get folded leg parts together, over a hanger that has a bit of padding on It’s bottom wire. The padding keeps a crease from forming. I like the wooden hangers best.

Get yourself some elastic bands and wrap around any hangar you have at the appropriate distance - wide for boatneck shirts, narrower for tanks.
The padded hangers work best. A size 1X sweater will slide off your standard wire hanger, but a padded hanger has enough girth to hold the sweater in place. They may cost slightly more, but save on frustration . Good luck!
Use the hangers that have the notches in the top, put the neckline of the item inside the notch.
check out the hangers at Home Goods they have a soft material covering clothes stay on & are easily removed also good price
Dora, you can buy the hangers that keep your clothes from movin or take two rubber bands an put one rubber band on one side of the hanger hook an another on the other side. Works pretty well an it’s free.
