Yes they should, if not this year then next.....
Irises are very hardy, and will come back. They need the cold to lay dormant, but they will come back. If you are in an area with a late spring, it may be awhile before they appear, but they should come back. If you are concerned enough, you can dig them up and pot them in planters until spring thaw, then transplant back into the ground.

If you had them buried, they will be just fine. I live in North Dakota and the constant freezing hasn't hurt mine....and I'm told they were planted when the house was built back in the 60's!
sometimes a healthy watering will bring them back... It seems to save the plant.
Are they dutch Iris or French Iris? Dutch are buried completely and should come back. French should be planted half in and half out of the ground (they won't bloom otherwise) but they should be ok as well. I used to grow them in PA and they withstood freezing well.
