Most are hybrids, so you may not end up with a tomato that is the same. You would need to get tomatoes or cucumbers that you know for sure are heirloom varieties. They are the only ones that you truly will get the same plants.
Yes you can, I do it all the time . Let them dry out then plant in some good garden soil.
Hello! Typically cucumbers or tomatoes are not grown from just one seed — several seeds are put in the soil in hopes that one or more will germinate. Here is a guide on how to plant cucumbers from your cucumber seeds. Click on the link below to view.

my compost pile grows cukes annually. lol. so yes. They may not be the exact type as the cuke you used the seed from because they are often hybridized. Tomatoes are the same way.
You may or may not get the same plant. If it was from an heirloom plant, then you will get the identical plant. I often get "volunteer plants" from tomatoes I throw back to the soil. BUT tomatoes are best grown in a pot in the house and transferred to the soil. Cucumbers can be started right in the ground. But plant 3 and pull out the 2 weakest plants. If these were not heirloom plants (where you are getting the seeds) , you are best to purchase seeds. If you have never gardened before forget seeds , start with small plants purchased from a garden center. You can get common plants at Home Deport / Lowes and will have success. Good luck!
Yes, but you need to make sure they are dried well before storing them.
