My husband used a mouse trap and put it by the mound inside the hole or you can make one on the mound. It worked , we caught quite a few. It seems when we use mulch we get the moles or voles. The years we did not use mulch we did not get them. Try it, it worked for us.

Most hardware stores sell a mole repellant that you put on your lawn a couple of times a season that makes the moles move elsewhere!
