What is a water hose wind up? Do you mean how to cover up a garden hose after winding it up and while it is laying on the ground?
Here's video showing how a fellow built a planter box to contain the water hose at his house. More work than I'd want to do but maybe you will like it. Or maybe you could buy something similar.
Put it in a larger plastic planter! Spray it with a paint that adheres to plastic. You can go classy with maybe Oiled Bronze or fun with a bright neon. Then go to one of the big box stores and buy a wooden table top (in the aisle with the wooden korbels, etc). Paint top and bottom. Put a plant on top when not in use. Good luck!
Can you put it in a container that is not an eye sore: a basket? a box? a bench? something that will contain it out of sight for you?
You can put a bush in a container in front of it to camoflouge. Or a cool yard sign.
Build a table that will go over it with plywood on top that you can move when you need to use the hose. You can cover it with canvas if you want it covered to the ground to completely cover it.
I have a hose pot. Love it! Similar to this. Picked it up at Sam's Club 5 or 6 years ago for around $20.
