Use a rasp to file down sharp edges. Then put broken pieces on ground so that they form a sort of bowl and plant things in them. Vinca minor comes to mind. It is a ground cover that will grow inside the big shard and spill out on to surrounding area. Maybe you could stack a few pieces and allow the plantings to spill out and down over several pieces, from a height. Ivy might be another plant choice - or anything that will give the "spill over" effect. Depending on the size/shape of your pieces, you might be able to use some as bird baths. Good luck.
