Brr! Drafty windows- how to cut the draft?

Tape off the glass with painter's tape. Paint with a small brush.

Just one more tip if you decide to use painters tape. After you remove the painters tape you can take a flat blade razor and simply scrape the paint off the glass, it’s really easy.
It depends on the material. My French doors have vinyl grids. I would use paint for vinyl. If wood, you could use regular paint.
If the grid is between the panes of glass they can't be painted. They are sealed within the glass.
