not much will help with feral cats not even fences, set some traps or have animal control do it for you, and take them to animal control.
they sell a motion detector sprinkler...cats dont like water.
Thank you so much for these quick responses and fresh new ideas
I will keep you posted on my success
Cats hate lemongrass essential oil. Try soaking a few cotton balls in lemongrass and Sprinkle them around the perimeter. They will probably need to be refreshed after a couple of weeks, but if you can break their habit then they may stop visiting after awhile.
darn those feral cars.....
get a motion-activated pet deterrent hose attachment.... then move it around so they don't get used to where it is.... kitty don't like getting splashed.... https://www.amazon.com/Hoont-Outdoor-Blaster-Animal-Repeller/dp/B078R6PRZ6/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1523680850&sr=8-16&keywords=motion+activated+pet+deterrent
Well your garden needs water and the cats don't like to be wet.
I really like the motion detector sprinkler, it sounds like it would be a big help to you. As extra insurance, put down the chicken wire.
Sounds as if someone is feeding these feral cats, if there is and you can contact them and ask them to feed them elsewhere. Cats can move to another area where they have shelter and protection and not violate your garden.
