I know that opinions vary, but what's your opinion?!I have great luck w Rosemary plants. Green all year long.
It depends on the weed. I boil 2 kettles of water every morning then dribble on the weeds. Vinegar works well too. When dead, I dig out and dispose.
For the beds I smother with landscape fabric, then cover with mulch.

Pull the larger ones. and that will slow down the new growth, then you can keep up with pulling them, you don't want to put anything chemical in the bed if you are planting flowers or plants
you have to pull them or smother them out with newspaper, cardbaord, heavy landscape fabric and mulch .you cannot use any chemicals, vinegar etc or it will kill the plants
