Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
No advice from Home Depot is not surprising, I know more than all of the staff put together, at my local store their hiring practices are less than stellar. While everyone deserves a job, in a big box home improvement store there ought to be more than college kids running the place, guess working for minimum wage is not conducive for hiring retired professionals. Sorry, but the exterminator you called was worthless - this is their job to know. Yikes! Here are some fantastic sites!

thank you but these are beige/tan and do not go anywhere near plants
They are most likely in wherever you have the wool. Put up cedar boards in a closet, don't top coat it and give it a light sand to reactivate the cedar when the scent disappears. You could also get a cedar chest or the blocks you can purchase and put them in a garment bag with your wool clothes. I would check and see if maybe there aren't some kind of traps for them.
Pantry moths? Did you ring them home in a grain product. I did in dog cookies😤...
Go thru your pantry. See if you find webs in the food containers and ditch them. Then vac and lean all the corners. They are a pita.
