Southern Traditions: Why Did My Grandmas Sweep Their Yards?
My question as I watched these grandparents was always, "Why are you sweeping your yards, and why is there no grass around your house?" We have grass around ours.
that is moss, use wet and forget safe for the surface
Wet and Leave is a good product..........
You can use vinegar and hot water (equal parts) in a squirt bottle. A little scrub with a broom may be in order. Rinse well.
I would just use a power washer with no other cleaners
Power wash
You can use bleach or vinegar with water mixture. Apply with a stiff brush. Make sure to test an unseen area first to assure you are satisfied with the look. If you do not want to use chemicals you can scrub off as much as you can with a stiff dry brush and scrape larger deposits off with a plastic spoon or scraper. I have left mine to age naturally, but if you want a clean look, also without chemicals, you might try a paste of baking soda and water. Good luck.
omg, i used a pressure washer on my old patio blocks and sidewalks. it was so fun i did the neighbors as well! I rented it from the local hardware store. You may get away with a power nozzle that you can purchase for under $20. instead of the rental.
Powerwash! We used a powerwasher on curbs that had 20 year old algae and moss. They came out beautifully with no damage whatsoever.
We have the same pavers and I also power wash them. They look great.
I totally agree power washing them brings them back to orginal look
