    Put a little dish near the plants with a little water and something sweet in the dish, like karo syrup mix them together. The sweet liquid will attract the flys into the dish.

    Take plant outside, spray it rather well with a solution of soapy water. Take all the dirt off the roots, spray water on plant to remove soap, clean pot (if using it again) with Clorox and replant.

    fungus gnats....You have to re-pot the plants in fresh soil as spraying alone will not remove the eggs
