Look into Marine fabrics. Mold resistant, etc. pricey, obviously.
Save what you have to use as patterns.
Do you have a shed or basement you can put the furniture in ?
WE live in Maine and we have always found tarps to be very effective. I bought some white ones online.

Thank you Janet, the pattern making etc I already knew, but I was just wondering about ideas of the type of fabric that would last in our harsh winters in Wyoming. Nothing we have used so far has lasted more than one or two yrs.
