What is the best method for killing grass around trees?
Hi, I would like to know how to kill the grass around the base of a tree without harming the tree itself. Any information is greatly appreciated, thank you.
Drill a ton of holes in them as deep as you can and stuff with Epsom salt or periodically drown in vinegar or agricultural vinegar. Will speed up the rotting process.
drill holes in them and use stump out, spdom salt, rock salt
have you thought of using the Stumps as Planters or Plinth for Garden Statue etc.
Hi Tawnya. You can hire a landscaping company that has a stump grinder to get rid of them. Good Luck!
The best way I know is to drill 1 foot deep holes all over in the stumps, as many as you can and fill each one with Epsom salts. They will deteriorate themselves and you will be able to remove them easily. It will take some time, but not nearly as long as trying to dig it up
DYNAMITE
Tree removal people can use a stump grinder. My Dad would drill holes and add rock salt (like for the snow/ ice) . I have also used them to sit a big flower pot on and then plant hostas around it.
Why not disguise them by putting Large Pots on them or a table top for the birds etc. You could also hollow them out and use as planters too.
