Looks like Honesty..........When seeds drop it reveals silver white coloured opaque discs which can be dried and used as house decor in the Autumn with Orange Chinese Lantern ..............
We call it Money plant since the transparent, papery disks look like coins. Honesty and Money go together. The seeds drop when the pod ripens and opens. Each disk has multiple seeds so it can spread quickly. To stop it, cut off some of the pods before they mature and remove them from the area.
Looks like a money plant. Does it get silver dollar size pods which turn whiteish in the fall? If it does, when the pods dry out, you can rub them between two fingers, the seeds will fall out, and you will have some pretty branches to use for decoration in the fall arrangements.
Its a Common violet that can become invasive.... but it makes a great ground cover too, I allow it to prosper under my pine trees. And I kill in the grass along my drive way with some Weed B Gon. https://gardeninacity.wordpress.com/2013/05/29/violets-love-them-or-hate-them/

Rattlesnake "WEED" or, also called Florida Pur......, something or other...invasive! Dig it up and look at roots. If it is what I say it is, it will have white tubulars, shaped like "rattlesnake-rattlers".
From the leaves and flowers, it looks like a hydrangea bush to me.

Sherri, how does this plant do in shade? I'd take some of your unwanted seeds/root pods/whatever, but only if they like full shade.
Definitely a “Money plant”It’s indigenous to almost any area. I have been told that it was commonly used by native Americans. For what purpose I do not know . It is easily removed and very easy to manage I have allowed it to grow throughout the wooded area on my property. It’s spectacular and many people have commented on how they look forward to seeing my money plants as it is their sign of spring.
