Maybe make a trellis fence n get a fast growing vine or morning glorys ??!!
Plant a couple trees. There are also awnings that be installed over the windows. You can get canvas or metal. If you do the canvas, you could even go with retractable ones.
I got thermal drapes that keep the sun out.
Works great.
Awnings, unless you want to set out two trees that are higher than the windows, will be a quick fix. ☺️
Make a wall away from house to grow climbing flowers. Use plastic lattice with 4x4 posts. Good luck.
Those methods should work. Also consider window film, insulated window shades and curtains.
We had the same problem, bought dark Turquoise thermal drapes, keeps out the intense sun, the cold of winter, and gives privacy. A vine or plant may take too long to grow if you need immediate coverage.
