Make a Screen of fencing - (hinge together so they can fold away) or Bamboo Roll or buy a Cheap Gazebo.............
no easy fix without knowing what your landlord would allow, how large your pool is, and if it’s temporay.
You can purchase rolls of the reed bamboo fencing fairly inexpensively. You could likely mount or stretch it between a few evenly spaced long metal stakes pounded into your yard. Just be careful of puncturing any irrigation lines running underneath the sod. Even less expensive but maybe not as nice looking would be purchase long narrow drop cloths and attach to the stakes for privacy.
Hi, there are some ideas here that should help you https://homesthetics.net/22-simply-beautiful-low-budget-privacy-screens-for-your-backyard/
Put posts in the ground and top them with strings across the top...then put up shower curtain liners that can be closed up for privacy or opened to show the pool.
build a frame and hang curtains -- or cotton Drop cloths -- they're Huge, but would be VERY heavy when wet -- would suggest light weight 'sheer' curtains -- they come in beautiful colors! and are virtually weather proof --- cheap as they are, if they only last one season you still aren't out a lot!
ok, then I would buy some painters tarps (canvass) see a “pocket on each side large enough to fit some PVC pipe in. Purchase some Rebar stakes about 4-5’ in length. Pound them in securely leaving about 3’ above ground. Place the PVC pipe with material mounted. Not get creative and paint or stencil some designs on the interior sides . Depending on how tall you want them, the taller the thicker diameter you’ll need for stability. And the longer the stakes will have to be.
