Some people like to glue them to a frame around a photo of a family outing at the seaside or just family group, some people glue them to the outer section of a mirror, fill a clear vase for decor, fill a clear lamp bottom for decor, put them in a fish bowl with sand in the bottom for sea side remembrance, or make a framed box 3 D picture with them in it. Hope this will get you started, Sharon.
you can buy a clear glass jug to make into a lamp which you fill with the shells. You can also wrap roping around lamps, vase, or anything cylindrical then tie or glue on a few decorative shells. Also buy shadow box frames, paint the backboard with colorful craft paint then glue shell atop. Pop back into frame & voila-artwork!
I make shell mirror frames, decorative wooden boxes, and just interesting jars/vases with shells in them

Rather than make something, I use my collected shells as a soil cover ( inside down so you can see the color and structure of the shells) for outside potted plants, they help keep the moisture in and prevent critters from digging in the soil.
