Are there any other doors to use for laundry niche that aren't bifold?

you wouldn't want sliding because you need full access to what is behind the doors which the bifold door gives you. The only other thing would be a door similar to the sliding barn door type.. Is it the louvers you don;t like? Another thought is a tension rod with a curtain. Personally, I am not a fan of that because it reminds me of The Wizard of Oz scene "pay no attention to that man behind the curtain", but it's not my house, right?
sliding barn doors
Hi Becky,
What caught my eye the most was that you said the newer washers & dryers don't fit the space. Due to that there really isn't any other door that would make that better and not have the same problem. I was thinking you could use double French style doors, but that wouldn't work if the doors won't close. If you want to change this, I suggest calling in a professional to look at the area to see if there is a way to create a little bit more space. Wishing you the best.
My friend uses a curtain. It takes up no room and is easy to install and take down.
You can use a shower curtain :)
Why not remove the doors altogether? A shiny new washer and dryer are not offensive to look at and it would simplify everything
Try..
consider curtains with track and tie backs when machines are being used.
