Put a outdoor carpet on top, accesorize with garden statues and potted plants
Get a nice outdoor rug, a small patio table with a couple of chairs. Potted plants are nice, as well. If you can, hang some outdoor candle lanterns if you want or hanging plants.
I just bookmarked this morning for possible use on my patio:

In my case I opted for the plain concrete slab because the contractor wanted 5x the price to do stamped concrete and 30% more just to do stain around the outside to look like brick. This looks like less than $100 and a couple of weekends to do my 16x34 patio. Winner!
Faux Flagstone Patio
Get an outdoor rug. Set the furniture into little seating areas. Colorful cushions, with flower pots to match colors in the rug. Maybe a colorful umbrella.
If it's concrete, Both Lowes and Home Depot sell concrete stain that you can brush or roll on. About $30/gallon.
Get portable water feature, some large urns with shrubs. Whiskey barrels are great for planing shrubs and are relatively inexpensive. Use an area oudoor rug and place your pation furniture around that.
Buy some 25 gallon black plastic plant pots (used for trees, etc). Plant a vegetable/flower/herb garden.
Hello Paula,
Buy only things you can take with you, Lightweight Planters, Table & Chairs (folding) etc.
Hi Paula, plants always improve a space, and you could add a little fountain feature, that you could take with you as well, then a few cushions on the chairs.
