Seal path gravel

I have a long path with small crushed gravel. I was told the small, sharp gravel would mesh together. I have constant dust and small gravel in my house. Any way to seal it? I wondered about epoxy, but it would cost too much. The path is 120" long × 4' wide.

Is the path new? Crushed gravel inherently includes dust, but it should settle in over time. Water your path to settle the dust. You can set your sprinkler to water the path while you water your lawn, or just lightly hose it down every few days. Hopefully the area around and under your path is not constantly wet. Conversely, standing water carries soil particles to the surface of the gravel. When the gravel finally dries the dust is there and ready to be tracked. As to small pieces of gravel being tracked in, my husband's shoes have grooves in the soles that grab hold of gravel which works loose later.

If the problem doesn't resolve consider adding pavers to the top of the gravel. 12x12 pavers cost about $1.50 each. You would need 40 of these to cover your gravel walkway completely. Another common size is 16x16. Larger concrete pavers are sometimes available in 18x18 and 24x24. The larger stones are more expensive, but I don't know if the square foot cost is greater. You could place the larger stones down the center of your walkway.
