tomato cages
Once the tomatoes start to ripen, if I notice a tomato or two chewed on the vine or on the ground pulled off, I start leaving tomatoes on the ground for them to eat. I get so many grape and sweet 100's that I use them to keep the other tomatoes safe. If by some chance I get some with big splits that I didn't catch right away, I will leave them on the ground also. I don't have anymore problem with them pulling them off the vines.
