      ok, fix the doors -- new hinges/handles, paint; pressure wash; paint the concrete counter tops - or sand, stain and reseal; replace the grill mechanism itself with a gas unit with a hood and 'down draft'; build a 'shed roof' over then entire structure - depending on the architecture of your home it needs to be compatible; on the back brick work install come large hooks to hang tools, skillets, pots, etc. on the 'Stair step' sides to the brick back, mortar a 12 x 12 paver to the 'steps' to use for potted plants for annual color; you can also install attractive weather proof lanterns/lamps for light in the evenings;

    Not knowing if you want to use it for porting area of grilling area, two things you could do for either are: you could paint the brick and tile the top.

    Start by power washing. You might be surprised how inviting it looks after that. Do everything. The grill, the brick and the patio. Then I would repair and paint the two doors and trim with a new color. I'm not found of the contrast with the red brick, so I'd recommend a dark taupe or maybe black. Then set up your grill tools, etc, so it's easy to cook there

    Not sure what type of budget you are working with but I would power wash and the add new tile to countertop and back splash. I would paint brick in a solid color (or whitewash) the bottom portion. Remove doors, sand to remove rust and spray paint same color as brick. Add new handles. Add a bar across the front to hang utensiles. A dark color where soot tends to collect will help keep it clean looking.
