How do I get rid of clover in my grass??

Help!! I have both red and green clover taking over my grass! Tried pulling it out but grass is thick and came out too,and it spread too quickly for me to keep up with! Tried Scotts fertilizer and weed kill,which was guaranteed to kill clover,HA! didn't kill anything but some of my grass!! No weeds!...any suggestions from my garden friends??.....Thanks a bunch!!

You have to use a herbicide for chickweed and clover, Weed B Gon makes one called https://www.ortho.com/en-us/products/weed-control/ortho-weed-b-gon-chickweed-clover-oxalis-killer-lawns-concentrate I apply this with one of those garden sprayer bottles.
