My bathroom is rather old and it has a butcher block vanity top. The wood needs to be sanded down, stained and sealed. I just don't know how to go about doing it.
Decoupage means to cut out and apply paper elements. "the art or craft of decorating objects with paper cut-outs" This is a bureau top I did and also a jewelry box. Every item is cut out, including around each pearl. For some reason the art (and it is a difficult and time consuming and expensive to buy art form) is being denigrated to mean just gluing something on something else and while that does apply to decoupage it also applies to wall paper! However I can tell you how to do all of the above things. But do you mean gluing a large piece of paper onto a vanity top? Or do you really mean how to decoupage a bureau top?
Modpodge is a product that is easy to use for decoupage.
