Strangely enough, I've found window spray, such as, Windex, to work quite well. I've never used it on white carpet, but I have used it on off-white, with no hint of blue, afterwards. If you're worried about the blue, try white vinegar. Good luck!

I've used a mixture of 4 parts hydrogen peroxide and 1 part Dawn dish soap (original). Also works on laundry stains. Spray it on, if stain is bad, use a cloth or toothbrush to scrub it in.
