How to embellish curtains

I bought a 525 thread count full sheet. I want to make curtains for tiny window. I need suggestions on embellishments. It is plain white. 13 year old girls room

have the 13 yo old pick out her own embellishments. You set the maximum price point. Go to a dedicated fabric store, and look at the different type of trims. Let pick out what she likes. Have her help you put them on the curtians. She will be invested in the project and more likely to take care of them.

The smaller Pom-Pom trim is very popular and girly; very sweet. A wide lace ruffle, or netting (available in bridal or ribbon sections of stores) would be nice. Stencil patterns with fabric paint.
