Has anyone ever tried using grill skewers as garden markers?

That’s a great idea! Thank you for sharing!
I have seen this done and thought about trying it in our garden, my only comment would be is they may rust beneath the soil.
I use chopsticks, plastic knives etc
Great idea! One of our members put a canning jar over her seed packet to preserve the writing on the label. Here are some more of her ideas.

Garden Markers - 5 Options
I use popsicle sticks in my veggie garden, I write on them with a permanent marker and they last the whole season. Bought a box of them to make Christmas ornaments when my kids were little and I still haven't used them up. I keep my veggie seed packets in with my gardening things, that way if I need to see the stats on them, I have them and they are in good shape.
That would work, just don't make shiscabobs after using them in the garden. Bamboo chop sticks or skewers are another choice.
